I have a Roland s770 Sampler and I bought an ADAPTEC 2930 scsi card for my QUICKILVER DP800. I' m trying to get SCSI sample dumps to and from my MAC. I'm using Spark software and I've tried Recycle. The MAC see's the internal 40 meg HD in the sampler but it can't communicate with the sampler itself.... I hope someone could help me out here. Does any one have a similar setup? Thank you all!!.

I dont have a definite answer for you, but .......
My (peavey) sampler doesn't have an internal drive, but is connected to an external drive, which my Mac can also access.
So i edit samples in the Mac, send them to the drive, and load them as banks from the sampler.....
The only way i can communicate directly with the sampler is Via MIDI...
Thus the editing is fine, and the files can be sent either way frm the mac, but control is over midi.
I dont know for sure, but it seems logical to think the same would apply to your s770???
hope i'm being helpful?
