Does a good software reverb exist? I'm running Cubase SX (1.05) on a Mac. Any got VST reverb, or is it a total waste of money?
I'm trying to replicate certain type of reverb but I don't know how. I don't know how to explain it too well either so here's what I'm talking about: 15 sec. sample in MP3 format, 358kI know it's done with a heavily modified Fat Plate on a Lexicon 480, but I'm wondering if this can be done with software reverb. It sounds like the reverb is only on the really high, breathy part of the vocals. It sounds very ethereal, and I'd like to know how to do that. If anyone knows, please help. I know a little bit, but I'm pretty new to this stuff so don't assume too much. Also, I am running Cubase SX, and I have access to Altiverb and Trueverb in addition to the included Spectral Design Reverb A/Reverb B plug-ins included with Cubase. Thanks! Adam
