When i started iTunes tonight i got a message if I wanted to download the new version 7.6... As stupid as I am I went for it with out checking for compatibility. After it was installed I tried to start iTunes but got the message that I must update my OS for it to work. The problem is that I have a HD3 Accel system (PCI) on a G5 and I run PT 7.3.1 and this gear doesn't support OSX above 10.4.8 if I don't update PT to 7.4 which would cause some of my plug-ins not to work if I don't update them as well... Anyway, I went to Apples site to download the previous version of iTunes THAT WORKED (7.5) but they have removed all versions below 7.6, I couldn't believe it so I went to versiontracker (my usual life saver of apps) but they only have 7.6, they usually have downloads of all versions of an app but NO not this time.
So I tried to google it but gave up after an hour or so and tried some torrent sites and got ONE hit. I downloaded it and installed it and to my dissapointment it had a totally messed up interface, someone made it BLACK with really cheezy tribals on the buttons and ugly fonts and on top of it black fonts on black background. I almost started to cry... I had not only lost like 2 hours of work, I had a butt ugly iTunes and clients on the way to listen to some tracks in, that's right, iTunes...
In desperation i tried to google for an old version of iTunes again and after a while I found a site that actually have ALL versions of iTunes, that's right V.1 to V.7.5!!!

So if anyone of you have trouble with the new iTunes version I wanna save you A LOT of trouble and give you this address: http://mac.oldapps.com/

Peace!
