I have Cubase! Yay! I thought everything would be fun and easy! But here's whats happening: I Record a midi track. So far so good. I play it back; it plays through my keyboard. Fine. Then I want to try using a virtual insturument. I load it into the rack thingy, then set the midi tracks output to VB-1 (the instrument). IT DOESN"T PLAY! Another problem: I make an audio track, try to use the iMacs built in mike and it wont record anything!
Well, the subject line really explains everything I wanted to say, but I just really want Pro Tools Free, and I don't want to leave my nice little world of X.
Okay, I have a MIDI program, but it only works in OS9. Not even in Classic mode in OSX, I have to reboot, which is a real pain in the you-know-where. I don't have a keyboard, so I need one where I can click on the staff. Also, I need multiple staffs and instruments etc... support. I know this is a lot, but one more thing... I need it to be low cost (read: freeware). Seeing as I am only 13, I only get $2/week allowancejava script:emoticon('') and I just broke my $160 retainer, I am broke. So if anyone knows a good program, please contact me. Thanx!
