Greetings
I am trying to config a live setup and I want to use soft synths with logic or Ableton live.
I have a G5 dual 1.8 at home that I could use on stage but not sure how road worthy it would be.
Just to run a couple of soft synths would a MAC mini do the job?
I Dont really want to get into the cost of a laptop.
FG

Absolutely, prolly your best idea actually. The new Mac Mini has the same processing power as my G4 and I use all the aforementioned programs and then some, to include Pro Tools and a plethra of 3rd party plug ins. Makes no sense in taking your 2000 dollar G5 out of the house to expensive to chance bringing that computer out to the clubs/bars and what not. Hope this helps.......
