Hi Does whether anyone knows whether Cubase SE (the version in the Studiocase bundle) will run on a mac with a G3 processor?
Is there any way in which i can use input from two soundcards at once to input to a sequencer on my eMac? I have an original consumer eMac running OS 10.1 (soon to be 10.2). Can I use the input from my USB Edirol UA-5 (stereo, can run at 44.1, 48 or 96 khz, at 16 or 24 bits) and from the internal line input of the eMac (stereo, stuck at 44.1khz 16 bit CD quality) simulaniously to have 4 track input to Logic or Cubase? I heard somewhere that OS 10 supports multiple soundcards, but can and is this implemented in the way i suggest? It would be great for recording from portastudios or recording all parts of a band at once. Please suggest anyway of doing this.
I have an eMac 700 CDRW running OS9.2.2 & OS10.1.5. I use an Edirol UA-5 usb soundcard and a Midiman Midisport 2x2 usb midi interface with it. I recently bought Cubasis VST 2 to use with my setup, and everything worked perfectly for a few weeks until one day OS9 froze up when I opened Cubasis. I rebooted manually, but had the same problem when I tried again or when I attempted to run OMS setup or Logic Audio Fun. I contacted Midiman because i thought it might be the MIDI, but everything they sugested didnt work. The edirol card works fine in os10 with audacity, so I dont think its that. Please help!
