Have MacOS 9.2.2, Protools 5.0, emagic Logic Express 6.4.0 and digi 001 interfaced via a supplied PCI card. Problem is to integrate digi001 within Logic.

The Audio section of Logic offered a variety of options including Direct I/O, ASIO and DAE.

Tried ASIO (after first copying the digi supplied ASIO 2044 driver fro its CD to the ASIO folder of Logic Express). After checking the ASIO box, Logic claimed it could not find ASIO 2044.

For Direct I/O, received mesage requiring digidesign direct I/O (Lib) which was not, alas, supplied on the digi CD.

For DAE, received message: "DAE: Audio media card not found (-9025) after an activity which looked supiciously like the operation of Protools.

Protools 5.0 works fine with the digi 001 and Logic Express 6 works fine with its other features. Can anybody assist with the integration of digi 001 into Logic?

Frustrated

You need to use Direct I/O and you need to download the latest Direct I/O driver from the Digidesign's wewbsite. Once you've done that, it should work.

I'm using my DIGI 001 and Logic Audio 6 (the version prior to Apple's version 6), and it works fine.

Good luck
