I get occasional crashes with my G5 2.0 GHZ when I'm switching between sessions in Digital Performer 4.12.... anyone else experiencing this. I'm only using ALTIVERB for my 3rd party plug and everything else is MAS. I'm trying as much as possible to keep things simple. This is just an in and out thing, but none the less irritating!

Thanks,
HVK

I've had that occasionally. One thing I'd reccomend is checking your RAM; Bad RAM can cause such problems. Try removing RAM one stick at a time and then testing to see if problem persists.
Good luck

Well... I ran the apple hardware test and found out I have a bad processor... Thank God the G5's under warranty still. Ive been using OS 9 for years, so to change a session, I would quit one before opening another but it seems you don't have to do that OSX DP 4.

On the Unicornation BBS, some people (not many) have reported problems when closing a project down in DP and then immediately opening another one up.
Work around for this seems to be, DONT close previous project first, just open the new project - DP will close the old project down automatically, open the new project & everything will work ok.
