If you want someone to help you…

You'd better tell us on what system are you running, version, ram, free midi or OMS/free midi, state of virtual memory… %)

And what is your problem ? We can't do a thing if there's smoke coming out of the mac or if the main plug is not in wink.gif

Sorry about that.It is system 7.5.1,the oldest version that will run on this 5260.The problem is the interface (mac syncman) shows midi data going in but nothing going out to the mac.The software ( and syncman itself )I think are flaky (like their tech support),so I bought a Motu TimepieceII on ebay (with origional software and manual)which is on its way.Other than that, the only other thing I can think of is Performer 4.2 wont run on a power mac.40 megs, manual recommends 2.Virtual memory is off.No smoke or explosions.Everything in this midi set up works great 'cept for the syncman. Thanks for thw reply.Lonni.

I've tried a small search on the motu site, perfomer 4 goes up to 1999, so it should run on powermacs…

Else, try to run it only with freemidi, check the freemidi config.

The motu should behave better… Also, check if you send really something from Performer to somewhere.

But maybe it's the syncman. (if it's him, kill on sight wink.gif
