here is what i have (copy and paste from the seller i got it from):Digidesign Protools System which includes- Digidesign 442 digital interface and Nubus card, a Macintosh 7100/80 computer, an APS 8 gigabyte scsi external hard drive, an APS 4x's write CD burner, a Teleport Platinum 28.8 modem, a Radius SuperMatch 17' moniter, and a macally mouse, plus all necessary cables to hook this system up. this system was up and running in my studio until a few months ago (i got a bigger protools rig and a new computer). computer comes loaded with all the audio software a person could ever need (logic, protools 3.2, sounddesigner 2, many many other!!!). This is a great system for doing basic protools work, working in logic with midi stuff, or doing your two track editing and mastering. The digidesign 442 interface sounds great, works 100%, and the filters were designed by Apogee! this is designed to run Protools 3.2 and you can find more info on that particular system on the digidesign web sight. A great system for doing simple two or four track work in Protools or working in Logic.
it came with no manuals or software. when i try to used logic or sound designer it would not work and talked about alias problems and programs that created icons could not be found please help i do nt mind making long distance phone calls please help i am 100% lost

it sounds like you are clicking on alias files but no original program file exists for the alias to link to. Maybe these programs were scraped from the new system you got and someone forgot to remove the alias files that attach to them. Have you searched your hard drive good to make sure those programs actually exist on your new computer setup? If you copied them form older setup... you will need to make new alias icons for easy launching because its a new path they need to see.
