I'm running Logic 5.5 on an iMac 1GHz OSX.2.4. EMI MT4 (Midi interface), EMI 6|2 (audio interface), Focusrite Trakmaster.
To monitor anything I do in logic I seem only to be able to do it through the 6|2. Is it not possible to have the sound coming through the speakers that come with the mac? I've tried playing around with the sound control panels etc, but I don't seem to be able to do anything about it. Any ideas? Am I missing something obvious? Thanks for any help on this |

You need to select "built in controller" or whatever the internal system is labeled within Logic (Preferences/Audio Hardware & Drivers -long click)... but keep in mind you can't (at least, not yet) enable two drivers simultaneously, so you won't be able to use the 6/2 while using your mac speakers.

Excellent, many thanks for that - works fine now. I thought I'd tried most things but I'm glad it was an easy fix in the end.
