I've downloaded the Finale demo, and have tried importing some MIDI files into it.
When I play the MIDI files through my Mac's quicktime instruments, all is good. But when I import into Finale, the "regular" instruments are fine but the percussion is gone - I see the staffs (staves?!?) for them, but they are empty. Since the demo comes without a manual, I've been playing around with settings, but no dice. Any help appreciated! Thanks, Andrew |

FWIW the drum tracks (and tempo) import perfectly to Pro Tools Free...

I have never used Finale but it could be that it just doesn't support percussion midi's... I may be wrong though
