Hi,

I'm new to digital audio mixing. I'm interested in doing my own recording and mixing on my PC. What are the best tools on the market today?

Thanks,
HP

Do you really need MIDI or not?
Have you already an idea on how you will work or not? At least of the music style.

You can try the COWN abnd Revver for this. You can also try the DJ Mixer for your purpose of mixing up the music. cool.gif

There are lots' of different softwares for pc, that record edit and create music. Program that i'm using is FL Studio 7. And i'm learning Cakewalk Sonar Producer Edition 6, right now. Like i know, some people think that they are really good creaters because they bought a program that is 600 dollars or more. It depends on YOU> what is comfortable for you. check the site www.floridamusicco.com, www.zzsounds.com, and www.flstudio.com

You will get to know what kind of programs are there out in this world.

Hi
Have a look at http://www.tweakheadz.com and you should find everything you need to know there
You can run Logic 5.5 on a PC with tons of plugins, Protools LE, CoolEdit Pro, Reason, Ableton, Sony Acid, Cubase......................................the list goes on and on
Set your budget and do some research
Good luck !
