ok so it looks like you cant use a keyboard to record a midi part in audacity its a soundfile editor - which is good if you want to edit soundfiles and theres nothing wrong with that but its not the garden full of roses that it first seems reading reading reading This post has been edited by gogmagog: Sun 19 Mar 2006, 18:35 |

WHAT IS HYPERENGINE-AV? A non-linear video editing software that lets you capture, import, edit, arrange together and process video, photos, audio and text to create DV quality movies and slide shows. no keyboard midi type action here then which is why i was so perrrrrsitent about the vst eye issue |

Audacity and hyperengine av are an amazing chance to get yourself up and running with the concept of building tracks, processing captured sound and even laying a track over some pictures with impressive results for a freebie but there is still no such thing as a free lunch a burger? maybe. any linux gurus out there working on some king of midification usb keyboard support i know its free i know i know i know what was i thinking but hey kids! dont crack feh dat track! not while mum is looking |
