Hi all! I was wondering if anyone knew of a program (similar to Power Tabs on Windows) for the Mac? Or maybe a guitar program that can load tabs and then show how to play it on screen?

Just wondering! One of the guitarists in my group could really use it rolleyes.gif

Here are a few options:

http://homepage.mac.com/gregrclayton/

http://www.finalemusic.com/notepad/

http://www.tabledit.com/

http://www.myriad-online.com/en/products/melody.htm

Notepad is free and the others are shareware.

Recently, I've released a PowerTab viewer for Mac OS X. It also includes a MIDI playback function with speed control to help you learn a song.

It's available at http://www.tellini.org/mac/tabview/

It's not worth $20 at all!! So far I have tried about 10 tabs and they're all wrong lol. Although I didn't have such problem with PC version. Sorry I know your intention was to help out, but this is terrible.
I think it should be available for free; especially for newbies and all.

if you have a problem with a tab, please send it to me so that it can be fixed.

As to your opinion on the program, gladly it's not shared by hundreds of other happy users.
