I need to add 2GB of RAM to my G5 2.7 and don't know a good place to get it. It says on the specs of the 2.7 that Ram needs to be PC3200 - DDR400. I elected to not buy the extra RAM from Apple when I bought the G5 recently to save money. I bought a refurb and the cost of 2 GB of extra RAM was $400. Online I have found x4 512 chips for $280 but would rather buy x2 1GB chips - any ideas where? Thanks in advance.

For the USA, Crucial and Macsales (OWC) for example are good places.

At Crucial
At OWC

Once installed, test them thoroughly (hardware test and fill the ram with apps) then up you go wink.gif cool.gif
