Using garageband for now - but also have Logic Pro. Not entirely satisfied with the choice of software instruments available! ie: there's seriously nowhere near enough for what I want to do! Any suggestions of where I can get some more ay minimal cost? Cheers wink.gif

Yeah, take a closer look at the instruments, they are totally tweakable. You can experiment and create your own.
Don't be dependent on presets.

Another choice is Reasons 3.0, for pretty much everything you need its all in one package!! The only down side is now you have to invest in another program. The refills( extra sounds) for Reasons is off the hook. I've only heard good things about Logic. Are you sure you have not gotten into the program?
Thanks

If you have LP7 there is IMO no way to run out of instruments. There are so many...plus ADSR tweeking, Effects, Sidechains...etc, you should be able to get any sound you need. Also try looking for SF2 files(soundfonts). Keep playing around and you'll see what I mean.
