Tried a demo of live 5 last week. Maxed out playing a 2 bar loop with 4 vsti's and 2 effects. Opened up cubase to see how it compared using the same instuments, patches etc and cpu sat at 40%. |

Live runs OK on my powerbook, started choking around 16 tracks of VI(much more than I got out of SX). It also has a limited freeze function for freeing up cpu.
Couldn't use live as my main app, but I use it for quick sketches. -------------------- G-Dub
