If you are looking for a interface that runs firewire. This is the one. You hace 8 mic pres and all I/Os are LXR. If you are likeing for just 1/4 you might want to look at the MOTU 828. MOTU is a great company but if you are looking for stuff for OSX good luck, they have the Firewire drivers but no PCI or audio software. Everthing is still OS9

If youre after a firewire interface, Id highy reccomend checking out

Their Mobile i/o is a fantastic interface, and the Metric Halo guys provide the best customer support and service Ive ever come across.

sorry tomc, but great as the mobile i/o is, the 896 kicks it's butt. rolleyes.gif
the mobile i/o IS the best portable solution, but the 896 is much classier...
