I get a 'CPU prevents USB...' error message a few seconds into each record attempt. The same message advises that I eliminate plug ins, remove tracks and maximize buffer size. I have followed those recomendations but to no avail.

What is the number of the DAE error?

What version of PTLE, Mac OS X etc.? Do you have the correct version for your OS?

Do you have Norton Antivirus by chance? if so disable auto protect.
