Hi Everyone!

I live in Madeira island and for about 6/7 years that I have a BIG problem with my old S-50 SAMPLER from Roland. Did buy this Sampler Keyboard in 1987, and I'm calling Roland Iberia, Lisbon, Porto, Barcelona, Madrid, everywhere in the last 5 years to find a new DRIVER BOX for my lovely sampler, cause it does n't work. Even in Japan they say that it's OUT of catalogue.

I'm very SAD when I look to this Keyboard and can't work on it!
Today I found this forum, MACMUSIC and I'm very GLAD about it, cause probably will be my last chance to get a NEW DRIVER if someone here can sell me, or if knows what shall I do???

I would like as well to share in this forum, some doubts about this kind of DRIVERS, and what you think about it! Why they just don't work after a while, and why there's no DRIVERS for the S-50 in the Market, and if any of you can help me, and knows what shall I do, or if even I can modify the Driver, for another one. The computers Drivers doesn't match in the sistem...

TANK YOU SO MUCH TO YOUR ANSWERS, that will help me a lot.

It may be difficult to find a suitable one, but luckily the S-50's aren't that expensive nowadays. If you really need to use the machine, you should be able to get a second-hand one for less than 200 EUR. Then you'll have one to use and one for spare parts.

edit : This store claims to have S-50 disk drives at store, check it out.
