Please help troubleshoot this strange issue i am having when jamming with 2 powerbooks.
8k feedback sound when linking 2 laptops together: machine 1: usb soundcard out to mixer Machine 2: internal soundcard out to mixer mixer rec out to M Box in (usb to machine) when disconnecting any cable on machine 2 side the 8k feedback sound stops. feedback persisted despite machine 2 being muted. ALSO: in second scenario when both machines sending out to mixer, (nothing back in to either machine) but firewire cable linking both machines. the same 8k sound. |

Sounds like a feedback isssue to me
Turn monitoring off on the daw program in 1st mac. -------------------- kaboombahchuck
