blink.gif Hi folks,
I have latency problems using virtual instruments on DP4. i use a G4867/892MBram and MBOX. I'm going to change my Mac with a dual processor 1GHZ increasing ram to 1 GHZ at least.
May i solve this problem with this new configuration?
Any help is apreciated.
Thanks and sorry for my outrageous english.

how bad?

The minimum latency with the Mbox is 512 samples, no matter what computer you use. And that should be the defining factor in your latency, unless your computer/DP is otherwise acting up. Just an Mbox limitation. For this reason I usually switch over to the internal sound card when playing virtual instruments, especially percussive stuff, in logic, with a minimum buffer size of 64 samples, which I don't even notice.

I don't know much about DP specifically, but the concept should be the same.
