Hello,
I don't use audio software on a regular base, so my knowledge is very poor.
I used to work on OS9 with WaveBurner, taking 1 long track, devided into tracks and than burn it.
Now I got G5, what can i use instead that will give me this features?

i'll be happy to get any help.

Logic Pro 7

Waveburner is mentioned in the features list.
no pictures of it though.
Also Waveburner is unfortunately only available in Logic Pro 7 and not separately.

Logic Pro 7 is an amazing program if you want to create your own compositions or multitrack recordings.

Hi Red, If your audiofile already cut up into pieces you may be able to just use iTunes to burn it. Go to the iTunes preferences and tell it that you don't want any space between songs.

As a temporary measure, have you tried running your old OS9 program? Sometimes you may be able to run them in classic mode (happens automatically when you double click on an OS9 application)

Looks like there's a fully functional 14 day free trial of Peak 4.1 Beside the other suggestions, this may help get you started. rolleyes.gif

well, waveburner does not run on OS9 under classic mode. only on natural OS9 which cannot be run in G5. of course i tried this option before writing here.
by the way, i'm not sure peak 4 can run on G5. they wrote in the site that peak 5 is for G5. it might be i didn't understand them well.
Also, my audio is not cut into peices, this is a mix i want to give tracks too. for sure if it was devided i wouldn't be looking up for an app that gives me this feature.smile.gif

anyhow, thanks for replies, i'll try ans see what fits me.

Hmmm This is what I got off their site: <p>

New York, NY • October 10, 2003 • BIAS Inc. today announced that Peak 4, a major new version of the leading stereo waveform editing application for Macintosh, is not only compatible with Apple's new G5, but several included DSP functions are actually optimized for the new ultra fast processor.
