am i wasting my time recording without one of these things? i've invested so much money by now and time, i'm wondering if this is the final fronteer and i should really just get one. how much of a difference will it make? is it like a big ...ahhhhhhh ? my recordings have to sound really good now. before, i just used my computer more or less as a glorified 8track to flesh out my songwritng ideas. but i need more . what do you all think? i have gtr center credit , or maybe i'll goto ebay if they are dramatically cheaper there... and whats the difference b/w the 828 and the mkII?
