Hi, all...
I'm running Pro Tools LE on a B&W G3 300mhz. The Digidesign Mbox is my sound input device. My problem is that, as far as I can tell, the only way to adjust input volume is manually with the Mbox's built in pre-amps. The Mbox seems to override the computer's input gain control, or, maybe more accurately, it runs independent of the input gain control. So... I have two questions... does anyone know how to adjust the "input" gain WITHIN the Pro Tools software? Or... does anyone know of a third party plug-in that allows you to adjust the computer's input gain... or the Pro Tools input gain within the software? I've got a low output mic (a Beyer Dynamic M500), and the pre-amp is just working too hard... and so I'm getting an unacceptable amount of hiss. Need help if anyone has it to offer! thanks!!!
