I've recently started using DP4 with a Roland XP-30 MIDI keyboard/controller. I had a blast for the first day, but after that I began to realize that I couldn't get either the hardware or the software to record and playback on more than one MIDI channel. Now, I know this keyboard is a multitimbral and multichannel device, so it *should* work for this.
In the keyboard's preferences, there's a place to toggle the recieve and transmit channels. Fine. The only problem I see is that it will only recieve on one channel, and if I assign two tracks to send on that channel, DP4 won't let me assign two different patches to them. Please help, recording with jsut one patch is oh-so miserable! -Marble |
