Hi, I'm a newbie in the mac world. I just switched from PC. When I was using PC, I was using ACID PRO, for several manipulations. Now I'm looking for a program for the mac that can bring me the same abilities. There's one particular option that is very important for me, it's the beat-mapping. I was using ACID to mix some electro tracks together, and it was very simple to do with this program. You just have to set the bpm of your project, for example at 130 bpm. Then add tracks to the project, and ACID offers the possibility to beat-mapp the tracks easily. Then, let's say I had a track that's 132 bpm, ACID slows it down to 130. Like this I can mix the tracks together, and with a fade in/out, my mixes are perfect. Sorry for the english, I'm from Switzerland, I hope it's understandable... here's a screenshot I took from ACID when I was doing a mix, it can maybe help you understand what I mean: http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/1/18/658524/screenshot.jpgWell, now that I explained what I'm looking for, my question is : Is it possible to do that with Logic Express 8, and if yes, is it easy to do? If not, could you advice me other programs that could be good for me? Thank you for your time
