Hi,guys, I've read many times on this forum that one should NEVER change a working system.I work on a Power PC Dual G5 at 2.3 Ghz and 8 gigs of RAM,and Logic Pro 7.2.3,with a whole bunch of additional software like Melodyne,Spectrasonics stuff,Nexus,Albino,etc.I bought the Logic Studio 8 right after the first release of it,but it still stands on a bookshelf,as my recent system works flawlessly.I work a lot for TV,commercials,etc.My intention is to sell the whole system (a colleague of mine is ready to buy it), and go for a Mac Pro 8-core and finally start using the Logic 8.I have the bad feeling that If I wait any longer I won't be able to get any decent money for my existing system.Do you guys think that's the right way to go?Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
