Hi!

I'm new to this forum, and I hope I'm writing in the right place...

I'd like to buy a firewire (or usb) mixer to record the drums on my mac. What is important for me is that the mixer outputs each track separately to each track on the software (e.g. cubase, digital perfomer, etc.).

By reading around it seems to me that the phonic helix board should do this, but I didn't find any personal comments which might be useful.
I've found also the alesis multimix, but again no personal comments.
And the same for the yamaha mg-206-c usb.

Do you think it's better to get a firewire or usb mixer? With usb I may have latency problems?

Thanks for any advice!

Yuvi
