I have a 1.8 gHz iMac G5 with a PowerPC chip and 1 GB of RAM. I presently have Reason 3.0.4 on it. I bought the upgrade to Reason 4 a couple of weeks ago but have yet to install it. But now Propellerheads have put up an announcement that "the performance of Reason 4 on PowerPC Macs is currently not where we'd like it to be." Anyone on these boards installed Reason 4 on a PowerPC Mac and, if so, what has been your experience? I'd love to have the new features but not at a serious cost to performance. I primarily use Reason as a ReWire slave with Pro Tools LE and occasionally Logic Pro. Thanks for any feedback.
