I'm learning the Logic Express program. I have 7.1 and I'm running it on an iMac G5, 1.8 mHz, 512 MB RAM, recording to a Lacie Firewire external hard drive and using an Mbox 2 as the hardware interface. (Whew!)

My three questions:

1) Am I limited to 8 audio tracks (audio meaning real audio like drums, guitars, vocals.etc.)?

2) I also use Pro Tools LE. In PT LE , I can create an Aux track and bus my audio there to apply effects inserts, giving me a lot of control over combining dry with wet sound in the final mix. Is there a way to do that in Logic Express or must the effects be applied right on the track? I tried creating an Aux track and having a send bus from the recorded audio track but there didsn't appear to be a way to tell the Aux track to accept the bus.

3) when I press the spacebar to stop playback I hear a clicking in my headphones. It doesn't appear to be affecting recording or mixdown but what might cause that and how can I stop it?

Thanks for any assistance.
