I seem to recall a sampling software that could be hooked up with any synthesizer, one could cleverly assign which notes to be sampled from keyboard. And duration/length of each sample.
I even believe on could get it to sample at different attack velocities.

As i remember one could even get it to work in batch mode sampling every program in a synth.
So it must supported midi messaging. And i think it had advanced chord features.

Sadly enough i do not remeber the name of program, but i think it was developed by a woman at a University.

Have i just dreamed up this? Could anyone give me a hint about what software to be looking for.
Maybe you know a better program to automatize samplings from synthz?
