Hi
When I to connect my Ipod (via the dock) or my Ibook to my amplifier (Harman Kardon), the sound volume is VERY low and to be able to get a high level volume I end up having to increase the volume of to 30db, which is not normal and produces a lot of bass vibrations. This happens with all audio sources (Itunes, Garage band, realplayer, Band in a box)

I have tried connecting my Ipod to another amplifier (NAD) and there is no volume problem.
I have tried all 'in' ports, but it makes not difference
What am I doing wrong ? Is there a special cable besides a standard Audio Stereo Jack ?

thanks
Eole
