Totally A New Beginner With No Experience, where to begin with experience/SW/HW

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 08-Apr 04 From: Rochester - US Member No.: 40,476	I have been very interested in getting involved in the world of mixing and sound editing. However I have no experience whatsoever with any instruments or software of any kind. What is the best way of getting started in this area? I currently have a 800 G3 iBook with Garageband. I didn't want to get into any more expensive equipment until I was sure I enjoyed creating the music. Also if I do become interested in this area, what would be the best setup to work from? I'm considering a G5 dual 2Ghz if needed. What are your thoughts and ideas about this? -Tigervette-
