Hello all,
First off, here are my vital signs: Imac flat screen G4 running OS 10.3.2- 700MHz and 500MB of ram. I am fairly new to the digital recording game and am ready to get serious. I want an audio interface that is VERY compatible with my system. I want to mix vocals, guitars, and audio loops. Since I'm willing to start from the ground up and learn any new audio/midi software, I would prefer getting an interface that is coupled with it's own recommended software. Here is what I am considering: -Mbox with protoolsLE (buggy concerns with my System) -motu 828 w/ audiodesk (pricey but I know I would be satisfied) -tascam us-424 w/ Cubasis Any other thoughts or ideas? I want to invest in something that will stand the test of time and punishment and something that I don't have to spend hours de-bugging. Any suggestions or arguments would be greatly appreciated. |
