I just got a motu 828. Installed on my G4 dual 1.25 dual boot in OS 9.2 and am using it with cubase 5.1.
It only works on and off. It often crashes Cubase, and after rebooting my g4 won't even see the 828. I have to switch it off and on (the 828) in order for the G4 to recognize it. And then it crashes Cubase again and again. Sometimes it does work, but I can't figure out why. Would anyone know? I called Steinberg and Motu, but they can't help.
Btw, this is the second machine I am trying, I already brought one back!
