I have been scoping things out for a while, and have been close to going with the tascam us-122 because it has software to ge me up and going on the cheep before I start throughing down lots of money.

Being a hobbyist home musician I was also drawn towards the emagic 6/2 but being married with a child can't get to the extra $500 for software. Now I find the Lexicon Omega Studio which looks like it would be great!

Muliple ins (8 devided into 4 pairs (whatever that means)) software for the mac and PC and zero latency and spdif in and out.

What more could one ask for?

Well, a review.

Has anyone seen this, used it or heard of it? What about bais? The French are talking about it in mac music, but I can't get much beyond the 'oui' (God love 'em, some one has to keep us sane)

I'll be getting a 1.25 ghz mac laptop soon, so that would be the main use for it. cool.gif
