While some may say to Bandar "get a life" without the romance of a Mac....I would second his rapturous refrain.

The last time I was involved with a woman who was PC oriented -- we got divorced! I would rather be with a woman who knows nothing about computers than someone who is not using a Mac for computing. In fact -- women with Macs are women who are quality oritented.

An interesting thing -- is that MAC for many purposes is the only line where I could downgrade to cheaper units (E-Mac) for many business finctions and know my software would work better than in any MS situation where the operating system is not only open to attack -- but has been written to obscelescence by bloated and hooked code -- on purpose.

I went through the 7.8.9 and 10 transitions with Mac (not that expensive) and have proffited by it --- with increased performance -- and less downtime than any7 of my PC friends.....who now build downtime, crashes and tech calls ionto their budget as a matter of habit.

I defy anyone -- at the price -- to find better service across the board than the 3 year Applecare plans -----

As I mentioned earlier -- I started with Macs when first out -- stayed with it through a few dogs --- based on state of the art --- and wonder daily about the returning vision of SJ (may he get better and better after his surgery) and how far he has seen into the future with his Pixar, etc. involvement.

Meanwhile my PC friends have been habutualized -- hooked almost as bad as on cigarrettes -- on recurring updates that do not work -- viruses that do work all to well -- software that doesn't jibe -- and service that is at the level of the impoverished beggar on welfare if they do not buy "premium" services. (I am sorry Adobe has let them selves fall victim to this last idea -- even thoiugh I have used them for as long as they have been open. They used to be as service oriented as Mac.)

And has anyone noticed -- slowly -- Mac has grown to 7 per cent of market? They must be doing something right -- and my recent re-entry into music on Mac away from the trailer full of equipment -- has been a realization that there are people who care about quality FOR THE REST OF US.......and that includes Gary Garritan.
