Yea only most of my efforts as a self employed venturer were contained on my powerbook g4. Thanks to an opportunity to record a rare gig I bought a forewire 410 for use the next day. That night it shorted the only firewire port on my powerbook, which I used for digital video among other things. 5 m inutes out of the box. A month of waiting for m-audio to make a decision and they got back to me saying if I didn't return the product they could have helped me. This is after their tech support dude told me to return it to the authorized dealer so that m-audio could ship it out to their labs for analisys. So I did what they told me to do and it ended up costing me the chance for them to help me. I see. A short while after this they were obtained by another company.
