I'm looking to convert MP3s and WAV files to MIDI format, and then to convert the MIDI onto sheet music. Does anyone know of any cheap but reliable software that I can download for Macs? I'm hoping I can find a free simple converter software to download but I don't know of any. I just need to be able to have scores of songs quickly without having to recreate them myself completely using a notation software. I searched on the Web but most were only for Windows.

I guess I misunderstood what it was you are looking for. If you are looking for an ap that will convert mp3's or waves to midi, there are none that will work all that well, expecially songs with multiple parts.
If you want a program to convert midi to score Metro 6 will do that. Tey do have a demo available.
