I am trying to replace the light MIDI synth used by QuickTime with another soundfont. I have already done this on OS X, but I can't figure out how to do this on OS 9. Does anybody know what to do?

Thanks

You probably need to make the "Sound Banks" folder from within the "QuickTime Extensions" folder first and then put the soundfont files into the newly created "Sound Banks" folder.

The folder that Quicktime scans for soundfont files is
System Extensions "QuickTime Extensions" "Sound Banks".

Try it and see.
