What version of the Mac OS are you running?
What other Hardware are you using with the FW 410?
Anything else plugged into any of the other ports on the back of your machine?
I am running the 1.2.2 version of the driver with 10.3.4 and everything is working fine?
I am pretty happy with the Firewire 410 although I don't use it for midi only audio input? Are you trying to use it for midi?
