I am trying to replace the light MIDI synth used by QuickTime with another soundfont. I have already done this on OS X, but I can't figure out how to do this on OS 9. Does anybody know what to do?

Thanks

Quicktime 5 and later can load and use soundfonts.

Put the soundfont files (.sf2) into the
Extensions "Quicktime Extensions" "Sound Banks" folder
and then open the "Quicktime Settings" control panel and choose the music item and the soundfont files should appear in a list that you can select from along with the regular Quicktime synth .
