Does anyone have experience with tonos? (www.tonos.com)
I am trying to record on tonos' downloadable 8-track recorder (TC-8) on my ibook, using an interface from Edirol (UA-3). I am having trouble getting the tonos program to recognize the sound input as the USB input. When I select USB input on Soundmanager, I get sound from the built-in mic on my ibook (acoustic room sound). I was advised to install DirectX sound drivers, but it didn't work, and I'm wondering if there's a better sound driver specifically for mac. Any help is greatly appreciated! tonos, by september this year will become exclusively "mac".
edirol, from roland is very new to mac support. you have a "driver" conflict that can only be fixed by one of these "suppliers". the edirol box was not a great choice, i suggest you "get on their case", bearing in mind that tonos is a very new piece of software! -------------------- one for all and all for one...
