Dear musicfriends,

I reinstalled my Mac Classic in my studio to control my midi gear. It's fast enough for sending and receiving midisignals, so why using more recent computers for this purpose?
The real problem is that software for the 68000 processor is hard to find. So I use MidiControl and try to do some programming myself to create a kind of universal editor/librarian. Therefore I need information about the Sysex of the following gear:
Yamaha DX11
Yamaha PSR SQ16
Roland U220
Is there anybody who tries to do the same? I like to exchange our experiences (I'm not an expert on computerprogramming) and I like to recieve the sysex information.

Greetings,

Wout

I'm also interested in sources for old software. I was recently given an old Quadra 650 with 64MB of Ram, an Audiomedia II sound card and an Opcode MIDI translator II. I'd like to experiment, but I moved the software and now I cant reauthenticate Sound Designer II or Opcode.

Any advise on where to find these old pieces of software or something compatible with this old box, is gratefully accepted.
