Does anyone have experience with tonos? (www.tonos.com)
I am trying to record on tonos' downloadable 8-track recorder (TC-8) on my ibook, using an interface from Edirol (UA-3). I am having trouble getting the tonos program to recognize the sound input as the USB input. When I select USB input on Soundmanager, I get sound from the built-in mic on my ibook (acoustic room sound). I was advised to install DirectX sound drivers, but it didn't work, and I'm wondering if there's a better sound driver specifically for mac. Any help is greatly appreciated! I'm not used with tonos, but ' DirectX sound drivers' are made for Windows (PC) only... Not for the mac
