that's exactly what i hear when i boot my g4.
i just bought new ram off ebay from ramdirect. the seller had 100% positive feedback and almost 10 000 sales, so i figured it'd be alright. when i google searched my problem (pairs of beeps at start up) i found that it could be a RAM issue. however, i've had my RAM installed for almost a week now and everything has been fine until now. nothing else seems to be wrong except that i get the beeps. any suggestions? powermac g4 quicksilver (single processor) 867mhz panther 1gig ram (2oldx256 & 1newX512) thanks, again d. |

hey...
yea, i took the ram out and it still beeps... but one of my three hardrives is not showing up. this happened before (without the beeps) and it ended up being a tear in my bus cable... i'm gonna have to investigate this a bit further... |
