Hi all:

Thanks in advance for dealing with a newbie question. I'm a sound designer, and I'm *finally* making the transisition from PC to Mac. For budgetary reasons (and because I dig ProTools), I'm looking at getting an Mbox. My question is this: Will I be able to import all of my old .WAV files into PT for the Mac? Or will I need to convert them to .AIF? If the latter, it's not a big deal, I have CleanerXL for the PC...it'd just be a pain, y'know? Granted, a one-time pain, but a pain nonetheless.

Thanks again.

Regards,

--Anthony

In Pro Tools 6, the default format is .wav

You still have the option to record to SD2 (like in Pro Tools 5), but for cross platform compatitibility they made both the Mac and Windows use .wav, so there wouldn't be problems moving from one system to the other.
