Hello!

I am very seriously considering buying logic express...It looks like excellent software for my needs and is very affordable as well. Which interface would work the best with this software? (least bugs, best compatibilities etc) I know there are emagic products but I have heard bad things about them.

Any help is appreciated!

Imac flat screen 15-inch G4- 700 MHz 40gig and 750 MB ram

Thanks!

well true for data tranfer. usb is as fast or faster than firewire, but usb sends data in packets not streams. so if data sequences are droped then you have a bogus recording. something like that. so usb is good for a couple of tracks at a time, but not when trying to record more than that. when i say a couple i mean 2-4 max. not just 2.

happy recording,
